The lotus flower has been depicted in different religions and countries around the world. Miraculously growing in the murkiest of conditions, the lotus is a lucky symbol that's revered for its resilience, and of course, its beauty.
The Carp, also know as Koi fish symbolises courage and endurance, these qualities are associated with the carp because it swims against a river's flow. It also represents academic achievement and business acumen, it is also a symbol of good luck and longevity. Legendary Chinese tale tells that the Carp would attempted to swim against the powerful flow of the famous yellow river, with determination to swim through the Dragon's Gate and be transform into a Dragon.
There is the swallow which is the harbinger of hope and springtime, the swooping swallow signifies good fortune. Its annual migration and habit of returning to the same nesting site associate it with both departure and return.
